Composer's Notes
This was composed in 1990 as a little gift piece for our friends Barbara and Kenneth Kelly whose farm, Barncleugh in Dumfriesshire, we visited while the Kellys were in Australia. On the piano in the drawing room was ac copy of Eric Satie’s Gymnopedies. Barncléupedie developed from the Burn’s song Will ye no come back again (with apologies to the French composer!).
