Press Reviews

A joyous, theatrical piece of music which alternates between dynamic, brassy flourishes and the lush rise and fall of massed voices.
Liverpool Echo

This is Jenkins' third piece in a row to provide a setting for a traditional Latin text - the piano accompanied arrangement for SATB was originally scored for voices, trumpet, percussion and strings. This edition makes Te Deum accesible to choirs of all sizes and will prove a popular and challenging addition to repertoire.
Mi-pro

No exotica this time from Jenkins, but a stylistically eclectic work nevertheless
Music Teacher magazine

Jenkins' music is straightforward, vigorous and accessible - there is variety, in the gentle 'adagio' section that follows the driving, action-packed opening tutti, a clear sense of direction and shape throughout, and an energetic peroration by way of finale, ending in a unanimous choral shout.
