Four Counting Songs may be sung in a variety of ways: Each song is complete in itself and may be sung separately from the others. The songs may follow one after the other, with one singer (or voice section) singing all four songs. They may be sung with a different singer (or section) for each song, then sung together at the end. Each song "goes wtih" any other song. (Wehn two or more songs are combined the pianist plays form measure 62 until the end) They may be sung by treble voices, with 5 Little Ducks sung an octave higher than written. They may be sung by mixed voices: One Crow,Sorrow-Soparno Un, Deux,Trois-Alto Little Chickens-Tenor Five Little Ducks-Bass The counting rhymes are all anonymous. The music is all original.
