Boosey & Hawkes has launched a new Photo Prints Shop, www.booseyprints.com offering its rich archive of composer photos to the public in the form of high-quality prints.
Among the highlights at www.booseyprints.com are a range of newly-coloured photos of early 20th century composers, transformed through digital image processing. These include major Russian figures such as Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky Prokofieff and Shostakovich, as well as Elgar, Finzi, Vaughan Williams, Copland and Martinu. Contemporary composers in the collection of prints on sale include Birtwistle, Lindberg, MacMillan and Turnage.
Customers can choose the size, finish, mount and frame for their photo. Prints are shipped globally, with full order tracking and customer service.
The new Photo Prints Shop will expand throughout 2009, including performing arts, instruments and poster images, as well as a fuller range of composer photos and illustrations.
This new e-commerce venture complements B&H’s existing shop services covering sheet music and scores from all publishers, selected CDs and DVDs, books, gifts, sheet music downloads, ringtones and a selection of audio downloads.
