Composer's Notes
A few years ago I realized that I had not composed anything for my good friend Milton Babbitt whose music has always been very stimulating and fascinating. So when learned that Rolf Schulte and Fred Sherry (performers I admire) were performing together, I decided to write a duet for them. It was composed in New York City and completed on May 11, 2008.
