Looking Ahead: Oscar Bettison will have a new work for solo viola premiered at the New York Philharmonic’s Biennial in June 2014. Susanna Borsch gives the world premiere of Bettison’s Bird Forms on a Neutral Background (a work for recorder and electronics) in November. The same month also sees the premiere of a new work by musikFabrik in Germany.
