Looking Ahead:
Our Town, an opera based on playwright Thornton Wilder’s classic of the same name, receives performances at Drake University in Des Moines (April 27–28) and with Colorado’s Central City Opera during a three week run in July. * The seven-movement Mallet Concerto, written for percussionist Evelyn Glennie, will be performed by the Dame herself alongside the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong on May 30.
