Linked with a major 2002 festival in London, 'Passion: The Music of Louis Andriessen', Boosey & Hawkes collaborated with the South Bank Centre on a CD-ROM exploring Andriessen, his music and his influences through video, audio, text and games. Festival highlights included the world premiere of Andriessen's new work for violin, voice and ensemble, La Passione, performed by the London Sinfonietta at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. The festival ended with the first UK performance of Andriessen's most recent opera, Writing to Vermeer.
