Aebersold, Jamey: Ii/v7/1 Progression (Book & CD) (Jamey Aebersold Jazz Play-along)

Suggested prerequisites Volume's 1 & 2 - Intermediate level. Probably the most important musical sequence in modern jazz. A must for all aspiring jazz players. The new, expanded CD contains four new tracks of Jamey playing the 120 exercises from the book in a "call and response" fashion over an extended II-V7-I progression that stays in one key at a comfortable tempo. If you listen to jazz at all, you'll recognise many phrases as those played by the masters.
