Toshiro Mayuzumi was born in Yokohama on February 20, 1929. In addition to his many concert works, he also composed over a hundred film scores (most notably for the films 'The Bible', and 'Reflections in a Golden Eye'). Toshiro Mayuzumi died in Kawasaki, on April 10, 1997.
