This first volume consistts of sixteen traditional tunes which should be familiar through the school singing class and which are part of our national heretage of of music. The compass of the flute is explored from the low 'F' to the high 'D'. The keys are arranged so that the extreme notes at either end of the compass are avoided during ther first nine pieces.
