Francisco Nunez is a composer of choral, chamber and orchestral works; a native of New York City * Founder and conductor of the Young People's Chorus of New York City * Music features fresh arrangements and unique original compositions based on musics from Latin cultures * The rhythms and melodies of his choral works appeal to all of the senses * Awards include the 2011 MacArthur Fellowship, Young Virtuoso International composition grant, and a Certificate of Recognition from NYC Mayor Guiliani
