Composer's note
This setting was written as the 4th movement of Will Todd's 2009 Te Deum which was commissioned by the Vivace Chorus, conducted by Jeremy Backhouse. It was originally performed by a choir of 120 school children in Guildford Cathedral and has since been used frequently in worship. The Lord is my Shepherd is also available in an arrangement for mixed voices.

Commissioned by Vivace Chorus and dedicated to the memory of Keith Hester

The Lord is my Shepherd can also be performed with string orchestra. Full score and orchestral parts can be purchased here.

First performance (as part of Te Deum): 16 May 2009 at Guildford Cathedral by Vivace Chorus, local youth choirs and The Will Todd Jazz Trio, conducted by Jeremy Backhouse
