"Excellent intermediate Bach piano chorales, wonderful for church or home. Harmonious multipart melodies flow together, and the practice for the fingers is breathtaking. Taking one measure at a time, even an intermediate player can eventually play Bach's most wonderful short chorales with a little time.

The 69 chorale melodies are excellent for the beginner. This book takes you all the way to reasonably good Bach excellence, and is a great beginner Bach book that can be used through college.

I have mine that I purchased in 1969, and my children and I now play two part violin with the piano off of copies from the book. Very sturdy: my children are older than I was, when I used the book 39 years ago! :)"
