These Chorale Preludes from Bach's Little Organ Book have been very simply transcribed for two pianos, four hands. Apart from occasional doubling in octaves to give the effect of four-foot or sixteen-foot organ stops, no elaboration of Bach's work has been attempted.
As both piano parts are simple, and only one generally easy, it is hoped that the work may be useful to teachers, and enable them to introduce even quite young pupils to some of the most beautiful and least generally known of all Bach's works.
