"This song set provides excellent challenge to both vocialist and pianist alike. Each song is different and unique, entertaining the listener, but without providing musical pedestrianism. The harmonies show great thought and skill in their creation, and the overall form demonstrates mastery of compositional technique.

From a textual and technique standpoint, this song set is not appropriate for the very young singer. The text deals with either very abstract concepts or very intense adult-experience based emotion. This set will certainly help build the skill sets of the intermediate and advanced performer."
