It's almost Christmas Eve and in Santa's workshop the elves are busy finishing and wrapping presents. One elf, named "Elfis", is rather unreliable. He is keen to help but doesn't always listen carefully. He forgets to shut the door of the workshop and in comes a gang of noisy polar bears. However, the polar bears learn the reason for giving presents at Christmas time and Santa, Elfis and the elves make some new friends and plan a special party.

This witty and fun-filled musical is ideal for KS1 and lower KS2 children. The lively songs are represented in a variety of styles including rap, rock 'n' roll and boogie woogie.

The free CD includes a demo of all the songs, plus backing tracks.

Cough, cough, sneeze! Dancing Christmas party Getting ready for Christmas Eve It's a time Rock 'n' rolling polar bears Santa, oh Santa! Song of the toys The wrapping rap

"We did this show last week with 90 Year 3/4 children. It was the best show I have directed and it was the week after Ofsted visited us!! It is ideal for this age group, with lots of small speaking parts. It is great fun and relatively simple to costume and stage. We had every child in a costume - Santa, 20 Elves, 6 reindeer, 8 toys, a nativity tableaux and lots of polar bears. We dressed the polar bears in white T shirts and jeans with ears on headbands, or baseball caps for the rapping bears. For the Elves we dyed some white T shirts different colours with handkerchiefs to match. They also had black belts and green hats. It all looked very colourful and we loved every song. I really recommend it. "
