Noted composer and scholar Thom Ritter George has taken four movements from Domenico Cimarosa’s piano works and created an elegant suite of 18th-century jewels for flute trio. George’s versatile transcription works equally well with solo players or ensemble, and is within the reach of intermediate flutists while being equally attractive to professionals.
