Cloudy, with a Chance of Linear Thunder 'Round the Drums is for beginner to intermediate players. 'Linear' simply refers to the fact that no two surfaces are struck together at the same time.

The linear patterns in this book are designed to be played on a standard four-piece set: Bass, Snare, Small Tom Tom (S. T. T.) and Large Tom Tom (L. T. T.). Extra Tom Toms and Cymbals can also be incorporated if desired.
