After performing Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 along with flautist Sophia Anastasia on the brink of her due date, Gary Schocker was inspired to write her this gift, with the movement titles “Pregnant with Meaning,” “Maybe If I Dance a Jig,” “And Suddenly,” and “Introducing Little Daphne."
