Inspired by the passion and dazzle of Gustav Klimt’s celebrated painting “The Kiss,” Daniel Dorff has created a dramatic and sensual tone poem capturing the growing thrill of the painting’s young lovers. Dorff’s 14-minute work is suitable for choreography, and a favorite for Valentine’s Day programming. The composer's website (www.danieldorff.com/pn-thekiss.htm) offers full program notes and more.
