'Kleines Doppelkonzert' is a condensed summary of the instrumental concerto which was composed by Yun for Ursula and Heinz Holliger in 1977 and premiered under the direction of Francis Travis at the Berlin Philharmonic. The piece had been initiated by the Holligers who at first were put off after its completion in 1988 whereupon Yun composed the duo 'Rufe' for them. – The world premiere of the little double concerto took place at a concert of the International Isang Yun Society in Berlin on 7 May 2011.
