This Workbook is designed to be used in connection with the author's text, Counterpoint (4th edition, 1999), based on 18th century practice. It is hoped that the Workbook will serve as a helpful supplement both for those students who need to acquire an actual working command of "Baroque-style" counterpoint as part of their background & for those whose study of the subject is intended to bring about a deeper understanding of the great music that makes up the 18th century contrapuntal tradition.
