The form of this composition (it is a one-movement work) is in many respects an example of the sonata allegro. It possesses a typical three-section structure with an introduction and the whole is based on a conflict of two contradictory themes. In the Sonata, in addition to freely constructed parts of material, a tone scale appears in the arrangement 1 + 2, i.e. a minor second + major second.
