About
Rued Langgaard is an outsider in Danish music. He came into conflict with the spirit of age and was ignored by the contemporary musical establishment, but since the 1960s interest in Langgaard's visionary Late Romanticism has been growing steadily. Sinfonia interna is a theosophically inspired 'stage symphony' which was abondened by the composer, but was resurrected in a series of independent works recorded for the first time on this CD.
