James MacMillan: Serenity SATB & organ

Simple but affective setting of two contrasting devotional texts from St Thomas Aquinas's 'O salutaris Hostia' and Reinhold Niebuhr's 'Serenity Prayer' (sung in Latin and English respectively). Composed in 2009 for the 150th anniversary of St Aloysius' College, Glasgow, it is suitable for school and church choirs of modest ability. The organ accompaniment has an optional pedal part.
