Each piece has unusual scales, studies & transposition exercises to prepare the student for improvisation. An additional book of the same pieces is included, arranged as duets for pupil and teacher. The pieces can also be performed with 2 clarinets and piano. An optional play-along casette is available separately with backings by a band featuring top British jazz musicians.
