This oft-requested Mozart piano concerto is truly one of his treasures. Written in 1784, it is written in typical three-movement form (Allegro vivace-Andante-Allegro vivace) and features a beautiful orchestration of strings complemented with a generous wind ensemble: flute, oboes, bassoons, and horns. The third movement is quite unusual for its time in that Mozart utilizes many meter changes. A delight for any pianist! Includes slow-tempo practice accompaniments.
