Michael Nyman, CBE - Three Pieces For Harpsichord

This collection from one of the UK's most popular and successful composers brings together three very special pieces of musi c. 'The Convertibility Of Lute Strings (1992)' was commissioned for Virginia Black. 'Tango For Tim' (1994) was written in mem ory of the composer Tim Souster. 'Elizabeth Gets Her Way' (1996) is an extended version of the cadenza that Nyman was persuad ed to add to his Harpischord Concerto by Elizabeth Chojnacka.
