A truly contemporary composition for young bands. It begins with droning woodwinds and harsh, dissonant brass slowly building in intensity until it explodes with a rhythmic percussion solo. The opening thematic material is then reworked and extended. A lyric middle section changes the pace and leads into the exciting ending. (Grade 3)
