Much of Arvo Pärt's music is for small forces and within the technical capabilities of developing musicians. Da Pacem Domine, arranged by Sylvia Corinna Rosin and Irmhild Beutler for recorder quartet follows this pattern.

Written in his tintinnabuli style, the piece (originally for unaccompanied choir or soloists) can be played in either or two combinations, both of which are included in this edition:

High version - descant, treble, tenor and bass
Low version - tenor, bass, contra bass, double contra bass

This adaptation will make a unique concert item for beginning to intermediate players.
