Penderecki's Horn Concerto subtitled Winterreise ('Winter Journey') is already part of the repertoire of every hornist who concerns himself with unusual sounds and playing techniques. Now the piano reduction is to be published in order that the work shall, deservedly, be even more widely distributed.
