Riley, Terry: Terry Riley: In C (Sony Audio CD)

Celebrating the 40th anniversary since its original release, Terry Riley’s In C has influenced generations of music enthusiasts by continuously crossing genre boundaries. This newly re-mastered reissue package features all of the elements from the original sessions as well as new sleeve notes transcribed from recent interviews with Terry Riley, the project’s original session producer, David Behrman, and several of the performers from the original historic studio sessions.
Commemorating the 45th anniversary of the original performance, Terry Riley’s In C will be released in October 2009, and follows a performance at Carnegie Hall in which the composer and an array of performers took part, including some of the original participants from the 1964 concert premiere
