Mastery of the traditional rudiments of drumming is an integral part of the training for most drum students, & drum teachers usually employ rudimental exercises in one form or another in order to help their students build technique. This book expands the potential use of selected rudiments by showing their employment around the drums. The basic rhythmic pattern of each rudiment, together with a particular sticking, is presented on a single leger line.
