About
Ruders is by nature what the Germans call an Ausdrucksmusiker. Everything he has written is marked by a decided will to expression. Stylistically, he operates with a wide-ranging expressive register. Of his earliest development one could almost say that it followed several tracks - something that can also to a certain extent be read out of his piano output. It consists of six works for solo piano and two piano concertos, and spans a period from 1967 to 1994.
