Schocker's Sonatas are more complex then his programmatic pieces. The piano part is equal to the flute in complexity. Still present are his signature melodic style, and beautiful sonorities. This piece describes 3 times of day, starting with the church-like energy of Sunday morning and ending back in full swing on Monday morning.
