Trinity Guildhall: Trinity College Improvisation In Context Bass Clef (Atcl)

An important component in the ATCL examinations is Aural Awareness, Appraisal and Extemporization within the context of Sight Reading. Whereas Sight Reading by definition relies absolutely on the printed note, extemporization relies on musical ideas of the mind. The purpose of this booklet of sample tests for single line instruments using bass clef (including two examples in tenor clef) is to afford practice within the requirements of the ATCL examination.
