The Royale Suite was written for, & dedicated to, H.R.H. the Prince Andrew & Miss Sarah Ferguson & was given its first performance by John Vallier on 22 July 1986 (the eve of the royal wedding) in the Royal Festival Hall, London, in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The pieces are: A Royal Salute - in honour of HRH the Prince Andrew, Miss Sarah Ferguson - 'Fergie', Destiny, Waltz, Lullaby, Grand Finale - for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
