Decca’s Most Wanted is a new series of Great Singers in recital, previously available in LP format and now available on CD, mostly for the first time. The series represents a historic journey through the 78 rpm mono, stereo and digital recording eras. All titles are mastered for CD from new state-of-the-art 24-bit/192 kHz transfers made from the original first-generation master tapes. They are now presented in TRUE HIGH FIDELITY Decca sound.

From Opera, Lieder and Concert Arias, to popular songs, folk tunes, Broadway and Cabaret songs, the series presents a veritable vocal feast. It even includes the very first cross-over projects from the Analog-Tape golden age.

Each CD also includes bonus related materials from Decca’s deep archive of vocal treasures.
