This new disc in the Modern Times series aims to present the horn’s sound in completely new contexts. The three contemporary composers Roland Freisitzer, Thomas Heinisch, Norbert Sterk agreed to write works specifically for this recording. They tried to create new sounds that are completely different to horn music as we know it. What initially began as an experiment has produced exceptional results.
