Lesley Garrett stars in a spectacular Christmas music show, alongside international special guests, including opera superstar José Cura, famous jazz trumpeter Guy Barker (‘The Talented Mr Ripley’) and South African diva Sibongile Khumalo. They are joined by the Northern Sinfonia Orchestra and the Northern Spirit Singers conducted by Philip Ellis.

A colourful and passionate performance featuring exciting new arrangements of Christmas and classical songs, along with traditional favourites, as well as operatic arias and duets. Highlights include Mozart’s Alleluia from Exultate Jubilate (K165), a jazzy version of Purcell’s Sound the Trumpet with Guy Barker, a swinging, South African style Little Drummer Boy with Sibongile Khumalo and a virtuoso duet with José Cura in Silent Night.
