Trinity Rock & Pop Keyboards exams are offered at all grades from Initial (beginner's level) to Grade 8 (advanced). Learners will develop their playing skills beginning with simple melodies, common chords and simple rhythms in different styles and keys, and moving on to pedalling techniques, scale passages, improvising and playing more complex chords. Session Skills will help to develop improvisation and play-back skills - both important for keyboards players.

Performing is central to the Rock & Pop exams - you will play three songs and choose to complete one of two Session Skills. You also have the option to include one of your own original songs, so you can make the exam your own and show off your individual talent.
