Piano Trios for young Players: Easy Repertoire for Violin, Cello and Piano, by Heleen Verleur. The purpose of this book is to give beginning musicians the opportunity to play together, especially as elementary standard pianists have few chances of playing in an ensemble. These trios are aimed at students who have been playing for two or three years and contain contemporary style music that is neither hard to memorise nor difficult to perform.
