Creative Variations' provides musicians with the opportunity to explore and develop their own musical ideas in the preparation and performance of contemporary compositions. Each piece offers a different approach to "variation on a theme" either through demonstration or composition or improvisation. Even fully notated sections are open to musical interpretation and musicians should feel free to add their own dynamics, phrasing and articulations.
