This fun and poignant new musical from Sheila Wilson (Hosanna Rock!, Scrooge, Rock Around the Flock, The Sel?sh Giant) moves through laughter and tears as it tells the Christmas story with style and wit. All the favourite characters feature, with optional appearances from King Herod and Emperor Caesar Augustus, and even sheep if you have small children and woolly costumes. Everyone’s kept in order by a zealous director, whilst the friendly caretaker tidies up the confetti and straw. The play can be shortened or lengthened as required, and is easily adaptable for varying numbers and abilities.

The six cool and catchy songs include the funky ‘Knock, Knock!’, the rocky ‘Do the Wise Man’s Walk’; and the beautiful ‘Peace on Earth’. There are optional Recorder, Glockenspiel and Kazoo instrumentals, as well as Percussion and Sheila’s trademark hand-jives. The musical ends with a medley and a heartfelt wish from all the cast (even Herod) for Peace on Earth. And we wish it for you, too.
