This concertino was originally written for natural horn in E minor but has been adapted for euphonium by Stuart Johnson. The music is well suited to the euphonium with the variations on the main theme gaining in intensity and complexity. The final section can be performed as a stand alone piece.

A solo part in treble clef is also included.
