Thirty-seven original compositions from the sixteenth to twentieth centuries covering the broadest stylistic range have been carefully selected for this book. Some pieces are published here for the first time since the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and will be of interest to both adult and young guitarists. To ensure accuracy the earliest and most reliable sources have been consulted and the book contains helpful notes on performance throughout. This book has been edited by Simon Wynberg.
