The four dances featured here aim at complementing individual training, and above all, at developing the students' taste for ensemble playing. The arrangements were specifically written for players who have been playing the violin for 2 or 3 years. In these quartets, each part has a specific, essential role to play on a melodic, rhythmical, and harmonious level. The four dances are - Mulberry Bush, Haurrak Ika Suzue, Bloublichky, Danse Basque Espagnole.
