This original, new Christmas musical from Sheila Wilson takes us right back to Mary's visit from Gabriel, and culminates in a heart-warming stable tableau scene.

In this creative account of the Nativity, God is 'auditioning' all the much-loved traditional characters. But there are no losers in this show (except, maybe, Herod!), and a lot of fun is had by all. Herod fancies his chance as King of Kings and isn't at all impressed when the part goes to a baby.

The six new songs are catchy and vary from lullaby to rock, plus in the wordbook there's a simple rap for the Wise Men. There are optional hand jives and kazoos, and for KS2 there is optional two-part singing. The script can be simplified for KS1.

The CD provides fully orchestrated backing tracks, in addition to demonstrations of the songs.
