Reviews

"I was in a large chorus that just performed this oratorio last weekend. I have been singing choral music for the past 50 years, and without doubt, this is the most beautiful, inspiring, moving piece I have ever performed. It is written in 17 movements, varying in tone from serene to nearly bombastic! The music ranges from harmonic to dissonant in places; the words are so inspiring that it was difficult for me to maintain my emotional composure throughout the performance, even though I had heard the CD and rehearsed the number countless times. Performing this composition was undoubtedly the highlight of my entire singing experience. I cannot recommended it highly enough! Karl Jenkins is a genius of composition."
